With over 30 years of experience, Greg is recognized and regarded for his expertise in the fields of Financial and Special Needs Planning. He specializes in asset management, lifetime income strategies, life insurance solutions and trust funding. Greg has in depth experience working with people's most difficult life transitions.

Greg has earned a BA from Lewis University and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning. He also holds the credentials Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) from The American College.

Greg has refined a distinctive holistic approach while honoring a deep commitment to professional standards. As a parent of a child with Autism, he brings a unique perspective and understanding to his work. In his book, "The F.A.M.I.L.Y. Autism Guide" - Greg offers his brand of positive and empowering financial advice to parents, grandparents and advocates.

In addition to his practice, Greg is President of the Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Foundation. He has spoken at many national and regional conferences including The Autism Society of America and Cambridge Investment Research National Conference. Greg and his wife Dawn reside in the community of New Lenox with their two sons Aaron and Ben. Greg enjoys music, golf and traveling - especially to the Sonoran Desert, New Orleans and the Traverse City area.

David supports Provider Group clients in all phases of financial planning. As an experienced financial manager, David brings a distinctive viewpoint to the complex financial lives of clients. The integration of wealth management and independent financial planning can help clients achieve their vision of financial success.

David has over 20 years of experience in both the healthcare and financial services fields. David earned a BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago. As a controller and CFO for healthcare companies, he has directed financial operations for organizations with over $80 million in annual revenue.

David is very active in the Chicago area philanthropic community. He serves as a board member for Glenwood Academy, a school dedicated to changing the lives of disadvantaged children. He also volunteers for organizations supporting children and adults with disabilities. In his free time David enjoys traveling, playing golf and spending time with his family.

Kathy Laphen | Executive Assistant & Client Services Manager

Kathy joined Provider Group Wealth Advisors in January 2007 and has performed her vital role with kindness and enthusiasm ever since. Her operations skills are a great asset to the Provider Group team. Kathy assists to make sure all the necessary documents are in place to coordinate new accounts and service existing client relationships.

Kathy is a longtime resident of the Lincoln-Way community. Her outside interests include travel, spending with her family and being an active member of her community church.
